Recently opened Graze Craze at The Fountains at Gateway gives Murfreesboro residents brand-new options for charcuterie boards, grazing boxes and catered events. Locally owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Jason Dishon and Taylor Castranova, they say this category of business perfectly aligns with their personal focus on service and community engagement.
"Our offerings are prepared by trained 'grazologists' and feature a variety of Boar's Head premium deli meats, cheese varieties, fruits, vegetables, crackers, dips and sweet treats arranged into visually designed displays," says Taylor, who brings prior experience in sales, marketing, operations, hospitality, customer service and entrepreneurship.
"Everything's made fresh, from scratch, in our shop's kitchen every day," she adds, indicating that frequent grocery shopping trips ensure their level of freshness.
Jason, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, says customers can choose from several menu options, including the Gone Grazey signature board, The Vegegrazian vegetarian selection, and the Sweet & Grazey dessert-inspired board. Multiple sizes and gluten-free options are available.
From their location at 1440 Medical Center Parkway, Ste. D, they offer handcrafted charcuterie taglieri and customized catering services for corporate events, celebrations, parties, bridal showers, intimate weddings, rehearsal dinners, baby brunches, morning-of grazing for relatives or friends and everyday gatherings.
Graze Craze is the innovative company behind an attractive food trend sweeping the nation known as "grazing," which allows people the flexibility to eat an entire meal or small portions of food during the course of the day. The grazing style of eating provides consumers with a diverse meal plan in the form of a charcuterie-style grazing box, platter or table that meets the individual needs and wants of everyone's personal palate and diet, in relation to those who may have special health or medical eating requirements.
Fun fact: charcuterie originated in 15th-century France as a practical method for preserving meat and preventing waste before the invention of refrigeration. The word charcuterie comes from two French words: chair, meaning 'flesh' or 'meat,' and cuit, meaning 'cooked.' While the term was coined in France, the preservation techniques, such as salting, smoking, and air-drying meat, date back thousands of years to ancient Rome and Greece.
Taylor says their prior careers have centered around creating experiences that people remember. "We love being part of the moments that bring people together.”
Jason continues, “Graze Craze gives us an opportunity to help others celebrate milestones, support local businesses and bring people together around great food. And we take the stress out of hosting a food-related gathering."
The couple share that reactions to their team's food creations range from "amazement and beautiful to estatic and in awe."
Graze Craze portable picnic boxes feed two to four people, and can be ordered to pair with wine, for keto options, for sweets or for a complete vegetarian meal. Small charcuterie boards can serve up to 10 grazers. Their signature Gone Grazey platter is bursting with a variety of cured meats, cheeses and colorful fruits and vegetables, with a touch of something sweet, explains Taylor.
Jason says their Char‑Cutie-Cups or Grab 'n Grazes make great lunches. "We also have a Game Day board for during football season, especially for watch parties, draft snacking and tailgating events."
Medium boards serve up to 15 people, and can be customized for classic, keto, sweet or vegetarian options, too. Large boards are meant to satisfy the cravings of up to 20 grazers.
Their Graze Craze signature dessert platter contains an abundance of gourmet chocolates and baked goods that feature an assortment of traditional sweets.
Since launching the store on June 15, 2026, Jason says their team also is enjoying setting up attractive food carts driven by their build-a- grazing table initiative at event centers.
Graze Craze is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Orders are available for pickup, catering, and delivery through DoorDash, Grubhub and Uber Eats.
