The holiday season is such a wonderful time to reflect on the gifts that we carry with us all year long and not just the gifts that we hope to find under the tree. Some of the most valued gifts are given to us unconditionally, and many times it is in the least suspecting places. As the year comes to a close, I would like to mention a few gifts that I am grateful for. Behind the scenes of a publication there is a team of writers, photographers, designers, contributors, and an editor. This is a diverse group that brings new perspectives to the table. The common thread is their desire to help people share their stories in an effective and compelling manner and deliver it with the hope of making a difference with little expected in return. They have a passion and a willingness to work hard behind the scenes without any accolades. Without this combination of contributors, the publication could not be a success. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to my entire team that supports the Lee's Summit Lifestyle Publication, one of the best gifts I have carried around all year.
