Georgia Craft Brewers Festival Returns

Downtown Woodstock hosts Georgia’s premier craft beer celebration, featuring exclusive pours, flavors, live music, and artisan makers.

There’s a reason the Georgia Craft Brewers Festival continues to choose Woodstock as its home. With its lively downtown, walkable streets, and welcoming sense of community, the city captures the spirit of Cherokee County at its very best. This spring, that energy will once again be on full display as the Georgia Craft Brewers Festival returns for an unforgettable afternoon of craft, collaboration, and celebration.

Set in the heart of downtown  Elm Street, the festival transforms Woodstock’s vibrant streetscape into a gathering place for beer enthusiasts, entrepreneurs, and community supporters alike.

Guests can expect an impressive lineup of 50 Georgia breweries pouring more than 150 unique beers, representing the depth and diversity of the state’s thriving craft scene. From crisp lagers and hop-forward IPAs to barrel-aged specialties and inventive sours, the festival offers unlimited pours that allow attendees to explore bold flavors and small-batch creativity.

One of the most anticipated highlights each year is the release of exclusive collaboration brews crafted specifically for this event — limited-run selections that can only be tasted at the festival. These special pours showcase the innovation and camaraderie within Georgia’s brewing community.

Beyond beer, guests will enjoy special guest beverages including select spirits and wine offerings, expanding the tasting experience for a broader audience. Local food vendors will serve up delicious eats designed to complement the afternoon’s pours, while live music from the Steele Peach Band keeps the energy high and the atmosphere festive.

Adding to the experience, a Makers Market will feature local artisans and handcrafted goods, giving festival-goers the opportunity to shop small and support regional creatives.

More than a tasting event, the Georgia Craft Brewers Festival reflects the remarkable growth and entrepreneurial spirit fueling Cherokee County’s rise as a destination. It highlights the collaboration between local businesses, brewers, musicians, and makers all set against the backdrop of Woodstock’s thriving downtown district.

For craft beer lovers and community supporters alike, April 11th promises an afternoon that celebrates Georgia flavor, creativity, and connection right in the heart of Woodstock.
