After graduating from University of North Texas, Eric Becker and his wife Melissa were searching for a place to plant roots and raise a family. They found Celina, and now 17 years later, Eric is running his family-owned business and raising his two daughters in his beloved city. His company, Automation Integration is one of the largest AV firms in Texas, finding themselves on the list of Top 100 companies by CePro for many years. From home automation, outdoor lighting and home security, Automation Integration offers a large variety of services.
Though business keeps Eric busy, he finds the time to give back to his city as an active volunteer. He has served on the Board of Adjustments, is currently serving on the Planning & Zoning committee and he's taking his leadership to the next level and running for City Council Place 1.
Eric is not all work and no play. As an alumni of UNT, he owns a green school bus and loves to attend football games at his alma mater. He also has great passion for technology. You might have seen his impressive Christmas light display which attracts on-lookers from all over. The lights dance to the sounds of Christmas music and is a festive attraction in which he take great pride.
Eric also takes pride in being the "man behind the lights." He has the privilege of illuminating the historic downtown water tower for different events and causes. It recently took the colors of blue and yellow in support of Ukraine citizens. The city installed LED lights that can change colors and they say it will be lit up at least 30 times this year for different occasions. Eric Becker is literally and figuratively lighting up Celina.
