When Greg Greco of Aberdeen was in the mortgage business, his clients would often tell him how frustrated they were with their moving experiences. When a colleague of his started a moving company, Greg was asked to become a partner.
“I knew there was definitely room for improvement in the industry and so I jumped on board,” he says.
Later, he partnered with Peter Montanaro and founded Cimply Labor in 2017, where he continues to offer honest, high-quality services. “Cimply guarantees its estimates,” says Greg. “We conduct extensive due diligence up front so that we fully understand the scope and nature of the job. We don’t want any surprises for our clients on the day of the move.”
There are even times when customers will be charged less than the estimated cost. For example, if the allotted time is eight hours, and the job only takes six, customers are only charged for six hours. And unlike many other moving companies, Cimply doesn’t charge for simple disassembly and reassembly of items such as beds and tables.
“You’ll also find some moving companies have a bunch of extra charges and additional fees, but we always have two goals,” he says. “First, we’re going to keep it simple, and secondly, we’ll always do the right thing at all times.”
He adds, “We’re also very particular about how we wrap items to make sure that everything gets transported safely. And, if something does go wrong, we're always going to make sure that we handle it properly.”
Everyone on Cimply’s staff is a direct employee hired and trained by upper management. “We find talented young laborers who understand that it’s hard work and who we can trust to do a good job,” says Greg. “We also offer an affiliate partnership program in order to make sure that we are providing avenues for our guys to stop lifting furniture for their own territories.
“It's a special opportunity. Normally, younger adults don’t have the money to start a business. The affiliate program allows hungry and talented employees an opportunity to make monthly commissions off the jobs getting done in their territories.
