These 20-Minute Workouts Are All You Need for Optimal Fitness

Ready to get fit in just 20 minutes a day? Cassie and Gerard Richards, the co-owners of BODY20 Tempe, can make that happen.

BODY20, which they opened in December 2023, is a low- to no-impact personal workout experience that uses EMS (electro-muscle stimulation) technology.

“We help people of all fitness levels and body types maximize their results in just 20 minutes, replacing hours in a conventional gym,” says Cassie. “Our technology allows us to tailor the workout to each individual to optimize those 20 minutes you spend with us.”

The workouts, which were born out of rehabilitation, offer a multitude of health benefits: time savings; less impact on joints, tendons, nerves, muscles, and bones; reducing fat while building muscle; improving strength and endurance; correcting muscular imbalances; optimizing posture; enhancing sports performance; relaxing muscle tension; and more.

The pair were amazed by what they could accomplish when they first tried the workouts.

“As the parents of two young kids, we absolutely loved the idea of being able to bring these workouts to people with busy lives who understand the importance of still taking just a little bit of time to take care of themselves,” says Cassie.  

The personalized sessions, which are HSA/FSA reimbursable, are conducted one-on-one with an EMS-certified coach, who takes the member through a circuit of low- to no-impact movements while simultaneously activating the major muscle groups through the EMS body suits.

“We love engaging with our members and helping them reach their personal goals, whether it’s burning fat, building lean muscle, or finding a workout that accommodates their body or busy lifestyle.”
