Melanie Bush, Owner
Melanie began her bookkeeping career while attending Southern Methodist University in Dallas. After graduating with degrees in Political Science, Public Policy, and Economics, she moved to The Woodlands and founded Better Bookkeepers, Inc. in 2010. In 2016, Lone Star College—Montgomery’s Small Business Development Center named it Small Business of the Year. Today, the experienced team at Better Bookkeepers allows Melanie the time she needs to focus on her elected position.
Cindy Polio, Director of Client Services
Cindy Polio is a proud Sam Houston State University graduate. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. Cindy is an LMC alumni class of 2022 and a member of Interfaith Young Professionals. Before joining BBK, Cindy worked for small businesses and has over 10 years of bookkeeping experience.
Crystal McPhie, Director of Intentional Operations
Crystal McPhie graduated from the University of Houston. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from the C.T. Bauer College of Business. Crystal is an Interfaith Young Professionals (IYP) member and an alumnus of the Leadership Montgomery County (LMC) Class of 2020.
Melanie Davis, Director of Business Development
Melanie moved to the accounting industry after earning an Advanced Accounting Technical Certificate from Lone Star College. She previously taught dance and was an artistic director. She graduated from Sam Houston State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and a minor in Accounting. She is a CPA candidate.
