Healthcare insurance for businesses and individuals can seem daunting. There are so many options and resources, not to mention the language of acronym alphabet soup. It would be ideal to have a coach to lead you through the options and the enrollment timelines and even help you find the best coverage at the lowest cost. Debbie Righter of Righter Insurance is just that person.
Debbie Righter has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. She started working for the insurance carriers and then ran the NM Health Insurance Alliance (NMHIA) which later became BeWellnm. When Debbie left NMHIA, she started Righter Insurance and continued helping businesses and individuals to reduce the number of uninsured.
In 2016 after many of her New Mexico clients started migrating to Texas, she also became licensed in Texas. In 2020, Debbie came to McKinney to help her daughter who was adopting her son and continuing to foster. Shortly after Debbie's arrival, the border between New Mexico and Texas was closed due to COVID. Debbie continued working remotely with her clients in New Mexico and began actively helping clients in the North Dallas communities where several of her family members live as well. Debbie and Kristen moved to Celina in 2021 where Kristen's children are little Bobcats.
Debbie’s kids, Kristen Allen and Matt Righter, work alongside her in the family business. They understand that each client's healthcare needs are unique, and they are committed to providing personalized solutions. Whether you're a business owner (small or large), part of a group, or an individual, they are ready to help you navigate the healthcare insurance landscape. From zero-premium plans to those with or without employer subsidies or even employer-provided individual coverage, they will work with you to understand all the options and find the best match for your needs.
With Medicare Annual Election Period (AEP) being October 15th through December 7th and the Federal Marketplace Open Enrollment from November 1st through December 15th, evaluating your 2025 coverage options is crucial. There are significant changes in the 2025 Medicare drug programs with the elimination of the "donut hole" and the cap on prescriptions at $2,000 and more. With the team at Righter Insurance by your side, you can rest assured that you will be informed and in control of your healthcare decisions.
