Getting To Know Phillip Barone

a few of my favorite things

In a life of ups and down, I choose to focus on the ups.  I grew up with wonderful, loving parents and I have fantastic siblings (my sister, Maria and my brother, Frank); both of whom have full families of their own that I love.  After a dark time for our family, my father met and married Janet, who has been a second mother to me.

When younger, I served as an alter boy at my church and earned my Eagle Scout Award in the Boy Scouts.  I was then lucky enough to play 3 sports in college (soccer, wrestling and baseball).  After that, I founded multiple successful businesses, the largest of which I am proud to say helped raise nearly $21,000,000 for various charitable organizations across the country.

My beautiful wife, LeLane, is my angel who has provided me all the love and support I could ask for.  She has also given me my heart and soul in my two children, Ava and PJ.  Through them I stay driven to help better their lives and also to make me a better man.

I have taken a history of successful entrepreneurship and combined it with my love for helping others.  This has led me to Wayne Lifestyle and a journey I am proud to take with all of you.

1. Sudoku

I love a mental challenge and to figure out how it all works.  If you’ve ever seen me in my car waiting to visit one of our community partners, I’m likely on my phone playing Sudoku.

2. Second Base

I have been playing baseball (and now softball) for over 40 years, most of which has been at second base.  I truly love it and I'm good at it.  Each of us deserves a place where everything is right and the world makes sense.  This is mine!

3. Wings

I LOVE wings! I try them most places I go.  Classic buffalo and thai chile are my standard go-to but my favorite are the Jumbo Coal Fired Wings with the caramelized onions from Anthony’s Coal Fired Pizza.  They are my favorite!

4. Marvel Movies

Growing up a comic book fan, it was inevitable that I was going to love the Marvel movies in the MCU.  Better than that, my kids love watching them with me! I love you 3000

5. My Hero

My father, Frank Barone, has been my hero my entire adult life.  “Peaks and Valleys” is the saying he has always told me about the ups and downs of life.  He has taught me how to listen, the importance of “getting back up…one more time” and how to be a father.  There couldn’t be a more worthy hero.
