Learning Express Toys of Mason is a locally owned franchise, led by a mom of eight, Kelley Stevens. The store in Crestview Hills, Kentucky, was her first job after her kids were in school. It was there that she fell in love with the franchise, became a manager and eventually the owner.

“I love my job and working with customers,” Kelley says. “Caring for them and offering personal service are big parts of what we do.”

For their birthdays, kids get to pick out items from the store to put in a box with their name on it. Then, friends and family can come in to purchase presents they know the child will love (with a 10% discount!).

Learning Express carries a variety of toys, arts and crafts, kids jewelry, games and more from popular brands like Melissa & Doug, Lego and Fat Brain Toys. They also have large play sets like the Melissa & Doug Baby Care Center and Fresh Mart as well as current fads like L.O.L. Surprise and Squishmallows.

“We try to have a good mix, and STEM toys are always well-stocked,” Kelley says.
