GRAYSON COUNTY CHILD WELFARE BOARD

Established in 1943, Grayson County Child Welfare Board (CWB) is a 501(c)(3) organization committed to the protection, care, and support of our local foster children. Winter clothing and pajamas are needed for the Rainbow Room at this time.  Volunteers are also desired to participate in the Adopt a Family Program.

TEXOMA REGIONAL BLOOD CENTER

3911 Texoma Parkway, Sherman

The center provides blood, blood components and special services to patients in Grayson, Fannin and Cooke Counties.  Area patients depend on generous blood donors and dedicated staff to make sure lifesaving blood is available when needed. Currently, blood donations are at a crucial need.

HOUSE OF ELI

123 S. Ricketts, St, Sherman

Non-profit ministry designed to assist young men, aged 18-21, who have previously been incarcerated, homeless or who have aged out of foster care. Current needs include household supplies, Wal-Mart and restaurant gift cards.  Volunteers are also appreciated for their upscale resale store, Still Charming.

Meet Robin Bethel

Robin has been a resident of Sherman for over 30 years. She and her husband, Jason, are the parents of two boys. She is retired from Child Protective Services after 29 years of passionately serving families. Robin currently works part-time marketing for Nat McClure State Farm (NatMcClure.com) and serves on the trial team at LeCrone Law Firm.
