On November 20th, community members celebrated incredible women in our area at the inaugural Grayson's Leading Outstanding Women of Influence (GLOWI) Awards. The awards honored women who have contributed significantly to Grayson County through leadership, innovation, and dedication. This inaugural event was co-chaired by Dr. Molly Harris, VP of Community Engagement at Grayson College and Brandy Douglas, Owner of the Law Office of Brandy Douglas.
Attendees of the event enjoyed music by members of the Sherman Symphony Orchestra, a luncheon provided by Bon Appetit Y'all and heard an inspiring speech by guest speaker, Dr. Michele Fowler, DO, FACOEP, Chief Medical Officer at Texoma Medical Center.
