On November 19th, community members celebrated incredible women in our area at the Grayson's Leading + Outstanding Women of Influence (GLOWI) Awards. The awards honored women who have contributed significantly to Grayson County through leadership, innovation, and dedication. This event was co-chaired by Dr. Molly Harris, VP of Community Engagement at Grayson College and Brandy Douglas, Owner of the Law Office of Brandy Douglas.
GLOWI committee members included Katie Eubank (United Way of Grayson County), Jennifer Taylor (Blue Willow Cafe/ Bon Appetit Y'all), Melida Ailshire (JTalk), Diana Theall (Denison Area Chamber of Commerce, President), Chelsey Cook, Susan Hamilton, and Christy Derrick (Denison Area Chamber of Commerce).
Attendees of the event this year enjoyed venue and lunch by The Grill at 84 West.
