Goldsby's Chapel Acres

Where Stunning Views Meet Ideal Location

The first time that Scott and Laura Kadechuk pulled into Chapel Acres, they knew it was the perfect place to call home.

“We were looking for a quiet place, not far from Norman, with a little bit of land,” Laura remembers. “When we saw Chapel Acres, we knew we found our future home location. It’s a beautiful gated community, super quiet and only a few miles from town. The minute we saw the deer, birds and turkeys roaming the neighborhood, we were sold.”

Chapel Acres is an emerging neighborhood community located just 10 minutes south of Norman, in the heart of Goldsby. If you haven’t explored all that Goldsby has to offer, you might be missing one of Oklahoma’s best-kept secrets. Recently named as Oklahoma’s second-best suburban place to buy a house by Niche, Goldsby is the perfect mix of suburban convenience and rural charm, nestled just two miles west of I-35. For those who work in the city but want to enjoy the benefits of country living, Chapel Acres offers the ideal location.

“With Chapel Acres, we conceptualized a specific lifestyle from the very beginning,” explains developer Tina Adkins. “When we meet with potential homeowners, we understand they are often exhausted and perhaps a little overwhelmed with choosing not only a house to purchase but choosing the perfect location for their family. We care about this community and want to preserve its uniqueness and beauty.”

Southwind Hills Land Development intentionally designed the neighborhood to protect green space and preserve the area’s scenic views.

“We are proud to own the state’s largest tree spade so that we can effortlessly and safely remove and replant trees,” Tina adds. “During development, we intentionally created our lot lines to give the most gorgeous views straight from your front porch.”

Tina and her husband, Brett, purposefully planned every aspect of Chapel Acres to create a feeling of community.

“We want to support the social activities of the community in order to inspire and encourage homeowners to also enjoy time outside of their home and create lasting relationships with their neighbors,” Tina adds. “At Chapel Acres, it's not just a house, it's a lifestyle.”

One of the most distinctive aspects of Chapel Acres is the 6,000-square-foot clubhouse. Originally a secondary wedding venue for Southwind Hills Event Venue, the clubhouse features a towering, salvaged steeple and a restored church bell straight from historic New England. Today, it is a chapel in design only, but the clubhouse still captures the signature country chapel vibe that the Adkins didn’t want to lose when they chose to develop the land.

“We love the beautiful history that led to the branding of this development,” TIna explains. “Rather than making the existing chapel into something else, we embraced the theme and named our entire development after it. Today, it is the heart of this community.”

Exclusively for Chapel Acres homeowners, the clubhouse boasts a full-size gym with a toddler-safe play area, a family game room complete with arcade and table games, and a catering kitchen and bar for private gatherings. Additionally, the outdoor common area features a professional-grade basketball court, outdoor grill area with picnic tables, and a pergola, swings and a bocce ball court for homeowners to enjoy.

“Our neighborhood community has a clubhouse that is like no other,” Laura agrees. “The private clubhouse is perfect for get-togethers. Having access to the clubhouse gym is one of my family’s favorite amenities.”

Chapel Acres is already more than halfway sold, with only 13 lots and a handful of designer homes available.

“In Chapel Acres, you get the best of both worlds, a little country living with quick access to Norman and surrounding towns,” Laura concludes. “The view of Norman and OKC at night are breathtaking! And just wait until you see the sunrises and sunsets from out here. If you want to build here, you better hurry before all these gorgeous lots are gone!”

Just 30 minutes from downtown Oklahoma City and Will Rogers airport, Chapel Acres is only 10 to 15 minutes from all Norman dining and shopping, and is located within the Norman Public Schools district. Chapel Acres is located three miles south of Highway 9 and Santa Fe, just past the Southwind Hills Event Venue.
