Villella, together with co-founder Tina Roe, and five other key agents and staff are committed to the concept of “service-driven, not sales-driven” business. This same philosophy inspired Villella and Roe eight years ago to rally together, venture out, and begin their own agency that would reflect their core values.
“Tina and I were committed to creating a team with customer service and integrity at its core,” Villella says. “We’ve been fortunate to bring on members who hold the same principles in high regard while bringing a wider base of skills to our team. Shelby Tipton comes from a mortgage background; Alethea Beasley comes from a history in education; and Noah Bogeart (Shelby’s son) comes from landscaping and construction. Our referral-based commercial agent, Scott Wiseman, has 15 years of history in commercial appraising.”
Villella says that a hallmark of their team is how they work in tandem rather than in competition with one another: “We’re a tightknit group who works as a family. If one of us has a scheduling conflict, rather than canceling on a client, a team member will step in and give exemplary care to that client and then step out again seamlessly.”

Villella’s 21 years as a full-time mother of five and her prior career in occupational therapy developed her skills that have translated well to the real estate world. She’s known as an energetic, service-minded problem solver and expert communicator whose mission is to achieve optimal results in the lives of others.
Co-founder Roe is a respected Air Force veteran and former civilian construction project manager in residential, commercial and government arenas. She directed and managed the logistics of the opening of the Wynn, MGM City Center, and Cosmopolitan – all based in Las Vegas.
Both Villella and Roe have been awarded the KC Five Star Real Estate Award for providing exemplary service to clients. They understand that moving is one of life’s major stresses, but it also carries the bright hope of a new beginning.
“Tina and I gave our business the name Beginnings KC because every real estate transaction is a beginning. Villella says that Beginnings KC takes into consideration all aspects of a client’s needs, being careful to advise and assist, not dictate and bulldoze. She adds that every transaction is unique to the people involved because their circumstances are always unique.
“This is actually my favorite part of my job because it’s always fun and exciting,” Villella says. “Treating people as individuals worthy of respect has led to a loyal customer base with repeated business within families who refer us to their loved ones. We’re proud that long after the real estate transaction has closed, we have strong relationships with our clients who’ve become friends.”
Villella has lived all over the KC metro and knows it well. Both Villella and Roe are proud to be longtime residents of Lee’s Summit.
“We absolutely love Lee’s Summit and the people in it,” Villella says. “We have 13 children among our team members who play sports and are involved in their schools and faith communities. Our team members coach sports, aid veterans, volunteer at church, and look for opportunities to continue our strong community connection.”
