Navigating the world of Real Estate with Trisha Mell

If you've been on the Paint Creek trail recently, you've most likely seen Trisha Mell run by.  That's probably because when she's not helping people find their dream homes, she's usually training for a Marathon. (She's currently training for two, making them her 16th and 17th - no big deal.)

Trisha has called the Rochester area home, since graduating from MSU, where she began her career working in the advertising industry.  After a few years in advertising, Trisha felt a pull to move into Real Estate. She obtained her license in 2013 and spent the next several years working with local brokerages learning, building relationships and making a name for herself in the Rochester area.  Two years ago, she found a home at Arterra, where she has been for the past two years.

For Trisha, the most important thing to her is her relationships.  That's why she believes that offering her clients a home-buying experience that focuses on hospitality is what truly drives her success.  Although finding her client their new home is always her number one goal, she knows that finding them the right neighborhood for their specific lifestyle is equally as important.

"There are a lot of agents that miss out on opportunities to form strong relationships because they don't want to take the time to really understand their buyers.  "For me, that's the first thing I do when I meet a buyer.  I want to know their why -- I want to understand them so that I can deliver for them.  Why are they moving? What do they want their life to look like? How do they spend their days?  It's by asking those questions that I'm able to put people not just in spaces but into their forever homes."

When it comes to her own home, Trisha draws much of her inspiration from her travels.  She looks for ways to recreate the feeling that visiting a favorite resort, or hotel brought to her.  Creating a home that feels like a retreat is the most important thing to her when it comes to her space, down to the smallest details.  "I design everything in my home with the intention of creating a space that feels happy -- a space that feels like I'm on vacation in my own home -- a space where I can let everything else go."

Whether you're looking for someone to help motivate you on that next run, or if you're looking for your dream home -- we're always gonna bet on Trisha.

Your home is your center.  It should feel good to get to come home each day, and I just love helping people find spaces that help them live the lifestyle they want to live.
