Some rescues leave an indelible mark. Last year, a young pit bull named Barney was found abandoned at a park and taken into rescue custody. With no space available, Blessent stepped in to help. Barney stayed at K9 Resorts for several months, quickly becoming a staff favorite. He even made a live television appearance with Blessent to raise awareness about adoption.
Barney has since found a loving home, but he still returns to K9 Resorts for boarding — wagging his tail as if he never left.
