Mom of three, Chandler Borchardt grew up on a ranch just outside of Dripping Springs. Spending much of her childhood outdoors and riding horses, her work ethic has always been one to admire.
In 2017, while pregnant with her first child, Borchardt opened her salon in a shared space in Dripping. Her initial vision was to use her talents as a stylist to not only beautify the town but also to support women in need, specifically the local women served by the Heart of Texas Pregnancy Resource Center. At the time Borchardt, was in an abusive relationship herself and could not fulfill her vision. After breaking free, she began her healing journey, trusting that everything happens in God’s timing.
With ever-growing dreams and in need of a bigger space, Borchardt planned to open a salon in Blanco. A profound shift in perspective occurred following a calling from God. She recognized that her true mission was to support women in Dripping Springs.
In need of expansion, her current space would not work. Once again feeling led by the Lord, Borchardt shared her mission with the landlords. As deeply spiritual individuals as well, they understood her goals and supported her expansion.
Within a month, the expansion renovations were complete, and the dream of providing a safe space for women to feel beautiful and worthy became a reality. Thus, Greater Beauty Outreach was born.
