H Clark Distillery Joins Forces with Company Distilling

Big changes have come to H. Clark Distillery. Founded in August of 2014, H. Clark Distillery became the first legal distillery in Williamson County in over 100 years after Heath Clark successfully petitioned the Tennessee General Assembly to change
legislation outlawing the production of spirits. Crafting spirits using a small copper pot and open flame, H. Clark’s hand bottled, award winning Tennessee Dry Gin has become a fan favorite.

Recently, H. Clark Distillery partnered with former Jack Daniel’s master distiller, Jeff Arnett (Master Distiller of the Year 2017), and Kris Tatum, Founder of the Tennessee Distillers Guild, to create Company Distilling. Other partners include Corey and Kevin
Clayton of Clayton Homes. Together the team is creating a whiskey brand and other spirits that will be produced in their currently under construction east Tennessee manufacturing facility in Alcoa.

Located in the beautiful foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains, Company Distilling is slated to open their new distilleries and tasting rooms in Townsend later this fall. Fans of H. Clark’s spirits will be happy to know the creation methods - and most importantly - the taste of the spirits will not change. Company Distilling will continue to pay tribute to the roots and traditions that came before them.

The bottle shop and tasting room located in a granary off Thompson’s Station Road will remain open for tours and tastings. With the site having undergone amazing renovations both inside and out, guests will be able to enjoy the H. Clark gin they have come to know and love, as well as Company Distilling’s inaugural product, a straight bourbon whiskey finished with maple wood. It’s the whiskey the team always wanted to make and one “well worth gathering over.”

“Meticulously crafted for the best of friends” is not just a catch phrase for Company Distilling. With a strong desire to become rooted in Thompson’s Station and its other communities, Company Distilling hopes to bring people together with spirits “made for
sharing.” CompanyDistilling.com
