Here's To Hair

We asked the owner of The Boardroom about men's hair health

Q: How often should a guy get a haircut?

A: A good clean-up is recommended once every three weeks. It doesn’t matter if your style is long, short, messy, or polished, you should always look like it was done on purpose.  Life is hectic and moves very quickly. It’s a good idea to plan ahead and make time for yourself. Scheduling your next appointment before leaving the salon will ensure you maintain your desired look and gives you something to look forward to.  However, walk-ins are welcome, too.

Q: How can guys protect their hair and heads during the Georgia summer heat?

A: Sunblock is man’s new best friend.  A healthy scalp is the key to a healthy head of hair. Just like the skin on your face, your scalp needs protection from those harmful rays and damaging outside elements. A baseball cap won’t always give you the protection that you need. A small amount of your favorite SPF 50 sunblock, massaged directly into the scalp, will offer protection and prevent dryness and irritation. You can then style with your favorite go-to product or throw on your favorite baseball cap and enjoy your day of fun in the sun.

Q: Tell us a little about your stylists.

A: Boardroom employees are the best in the industry. Not only do they take pride in their creative work, but their number one focus is always creating the best client experience. At Boardroom, we implement continuous training to our Stylists, Barbers, and Front Desk Consigners with monthly focuses on technical and professional interaction. The Boardroom takes pride in being the authority in men’s grooming, and our employees continue to uphold that standard. One of Boardroom’s Company Core Values is Teamwork, and we take that very seriously. The Boardroom Experience is not accomplished by one person alone. It takes an entire Team to ensure that our clients have the best experience every time they step foot into a Boardroom Salon.

Q: Why did you choose this location for your business?

A: Our vision for Boardroom is to become a national brand, which is why we’re significantly expanding the number of salons and markets in which we operate. Our team focuses on opening our new locations in the best retail centers within our target markets. These centers checked all the right boxes to support our growth plans and continue to give clients a reason to regularly select Boardroom as their place to get ready.
