Hiba Naseem is a passionate speech language pathologist (SLP) who cofounded Speak Easy, a speech therapy clinic.
Hiba began her career as a registered behavior technician and has since been working as a speech therapist for 10 years. She has provided speech and language services across California, New York, and New Jersey, supporting clients from early childhood through adulthood in reaching their communication goals. Hiba’s experience includes conducting evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, creating innovative lesson plans, and mentoring new clinicians.
As Chief Clinical Officer of Speak Easy, Hiba manages a growing team of talented speech therapists while partnering closely with families, educators, behavior analysts, and occupational therapists to deliver the highest quality of care possible. She is deeply committed to ethical clinical practice, quality of care, and meaningful outcomes for the children and families Speak Easy serves. Hiba leads by establishing strong clinical standards, supporting the professional growth and development of her speech therapy team, and ensuring that services remain compassionate, effective, individualized, and grounded in best practice.
Using a client centered approach, Hiba creates an environment where clients have fun and are motivated to reach their goals. When working with children, she believes in letting the child help lead the session, whether that means playing on the floor with a preferred toy or reading a favorite book. By integrating therapeutic goals into a variety of meaningful activities, Hiba and her team help clients make progress while building skills that can generalize across settings.
Caregiver involvement is also a significant part of each client’s treatment plan. Hiba leads trainings for caregivers, helping families understand their child’s communication needs and providing them with practical strategies to support progress outside of therapy. Hiba and her team also provide weekly updates that may include video footage from a session or sample materials and activities that families can incorporate at home, helping extend learning and progress beyond the clinic.
Hiba looks forward to continuing to support her clients and lead her growing team of speech therapists while collaborating with families, behavior analysts, occupational therapists, educators, and other members of each child’s care team. She is grateful for the opportunity to work alongside professionals across disciplines who share a common goal of helping each child grow, communicate, and thrive.
