When you first walk into Capricious, you soon realize that not only is it a stunning boutique but a place to have a unique and personalized shopping experience. No detail was left out in designing this beautiful space that creates a warm feeling of luxury and personal service.
From denim to cashmere, there is a little bit of everything for every clothing need as well as price. The shopping experience found at Capricious certainly is for everyone.
The amazing team of personal stylists led by general manager/buyer Jenny Buda is there to assist clients with all of their personal shopping needs, as well as picking out a wardrobe, accessorizing and finding that perfect fit. Jenny makes sure to purchase styles in smaller quantities so that the client isn’t likely to “see themselves on every corner, especially when it comes to occasion dressing.”
When the owner, Gretchen Valade, was expanding the store in 2018, “her vision was to offer the community a comfortable, unique space that offered more than just shoes,” Jenny says. "She saw a hole in the community and wanted to fill it.”
“We have lots of denim, which is the No. 1 staple for every girl today,” Jenny says.
