“My love for bringing joy to others is one of the primary reasons I started highlands sips + events. The biggest catalyst transpired during the pandemic when we were remodeling our camper—I was on the hunt for some DIYs on Pinterest and when I was searching, cute trailers that were converted into small business started popping up, whether it be selling flowers, donuts, or like highlands sips, espresso and cocktails. I told my husband that when the world was ready to get back to having fun, I wanted to try my luck at it, and here we are.”
Choose from one of their three mobile bars: The Shetland, Skye Bar Cart, and Fizzy. The Shetland is a two horse bumper trailer turned boho chic, perfect for any sized get-together. The Skye bar cart is great for smaller spaces indoors or a poolside pick-me-up to elevate any gathering with sophistication. The Fizzy champagne cart is an adorable addition for bachelorette parties, baby showers, and girls nights in or out.
“Guests can expect nothing but the best. Our core values are embodied in service. We are all about the details to ensure that each client’s event is exactly how they envisioned it. We are there to provide a service, but more than anything, we are there to bring joy, laughter, and love. Pair any mobile bar with one of their four beverage services. Their popular espresso and coffee package comes with Messenger drip coffee, two hot lattes, Americano, and two iced coffees. Alcohol packages can include draft beers, red and white wines, craft signature cocktails and premium spirits. Each package can be personalized to fit any event’s needs and includes a barista or bartender. Ice, napkins, disposable drinkware, garnishments, syrups, bitters, water dispenser, styled mobile bar and customized drink menu are all included.
“The most popular drink as of late is anything with espresso! People love their coffee. We are lucky enough to have partnered with Messenger Coffee where we serve
their Relay Espresso and Silhouette Drip Coffee. We change our menu with the seasons, but an all-time customer favorite is our caramel apple butter latte. The rich buttery and caramel taste makes it hands down a comfort sip. A close second, but my personal favorite, is our honey vanilla cinnamon latte. You can’t beat local Kansas honey with the robust aroma of the cinnamon. As for cocktails, our infused old fashioned that marinates for five days in Elijah Craig bourbon, dried oranges, cranberries, and granulated turbinado cane sugar cubes topped with bitters and fresh rosemary is a fresh take on a classic.”

During warmer weather, it is much more common to see us out and about, mostly providing espresso sips.
