When Cody Reeves founded Hill Country Rally for Kids (HCRK), he didn’t have every detail ironed out as to how this mission would ultimately become a cornerstone for nonprofits needing financial help in Dripping Springs. After 15 years, Cody continues to be in awe of how much the community rallies together to support nonprofits that do incredible work for children in need.
The core mission of HCRK is to bring awareness to charities that serve children. As a 501(c)(3) organization themselves, their model is unique: they raise funds and then give them away to other causes. Their five annual fundraising events consist of the following:
1. Car and Motorcycle Show: October 8, 2022 @ Dreamland
2. End of Year Gala: October 22, 2022 @ Hog Heaven’s “The Bridge”
3. Sporting Clay Shoot
4. BBQ Cook-Off
5. Drives 4 Drippin’ Golf Tournament: Vaaler Creek Golf Club in Blanco
Cody has been here since Dripping Springs was a small town with one stoplight where he could stand and wave to countless folks he knew personally as they drove by. With the city’s growth, he’d love for all the new folks to get involved, make great memories, and meet awesome people at HCRK events. But most of all, being involved means assisting those children around us that need support and love.
