Cut Out Sugar Cookies

1 ½ cups butter, softened

2 cups white sugar

4 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

5 cups all-purpose flour

2 teaspoons baking powder

1 teaspoon salt

Holiday Cookie Cutters
Royal Frosting:
- 4 cups confectioners’ sugar, sifted
- 3 Tablespoons meringue powder
- 9–10 Tablespoons room temperature water
- Gel food coloring
Step 1: Preheat Oven to 350 degrees
Step 2: Mix cookie ingredients. Mix frosting ingredients
Step 3: Roll Out cookies
Step 4: Frost Cookies
Yields 5 Dozen Cookies
