It is October, and it's never too early to plan your home's holiday look.
On Saturday, October 18th, Carol Davis and her team at Sherman's Interior HomeStore will be opening their doors to share the experience of their "Enchanted Forest". The team has been hard at work since the Dallas Christmas Market in January. This year's theme is nature-inspired and brought to life with a color palette of deep greens, earthy browns, and touches of gold or silver. It incorporates woodland creatures like owls, deer, and foxes, and uses natural elements like pinecones, berries, and faux greenery. Fairy lights, faux ivy, and moss will create a magical, ethereal glow as soon as you walk in the front door. You will instantly feel the magic of the holiday season!
Scheduled for the third Saturday of October, the Interior HomeStore Open House has become an early holiday must-attend event. As soon as the temperatures start to get cooler and leaves start to fall, customers are ready to stop in and explore the beautifully arranged displays, helping them transition from Fall to Christmas. Stop by the store for tasty treats and special drinks, and take a minute to register for one of the fabulous door prizes.
Even if you have a closet full of holiday decor, Carol shares some thoughts about updating your decorations: "It is always fun to open your Christmas boxes to reveal your 'favorite memories’ from years past. We encourage our customers to do a little decluttering to update their look without starting completely over. If you rearrange and display your existing holiday décor, perhaps in another room, then you can consider new textures, colors, or themes."
