A wedding band set had been lost in the fire and we were carefully looking to find it, knowing how important it was for the homeowner. While looking through the ashes, we instead found her grandmother’s rosary. The homeowner was beyond moved that we were able to find this family heirloom that she thought was gone forever. It meant so much to them and we were so grateful to be a hero to them. This is the “why” behind our job,” said Mortimer.
