As autumn settles over Bellevue, gratitude feels especially present. It’s in the laughter shared around family tables, the pride of building something together, and the neighbors who make this city feel like home. This November, three local families reflect on the moments and milestones that fill their hearts with thanks. Their words remind us that gratitude is the quiet magic that turns everyday life into something extraordinary.

As a family, we feel so blessed to call Bellevue our home. We started Custom Concrete Northwest LLC together six years ago, but our proudest accomplishment will always be our three wonderful children. They keep us grounded, laughing, and grateful every single day. They are everything.
This season especially, we find ourselves reflecting on the things that matter most—our health, the love we share as a family, and the beautiful community we’re surrounded by. Bellevue has given us so much more than just a place to live; it has given us friendships, opportunities, and the sense of belonging we’ve always hoped for.
Running a small, family-owned business comes with plenty of challenges, but it has also brought us countless blessings. We are thankful for every client who has trusted us, every neighbor who has supported us, and every moment we’ve been able to grow both as a family and as part of this community.
More than anything, we are grateful for the little things—cheering on our kids’ activities, exploring the outdoors together, and enjoying simple family dinners at the end of a long day. Our hearts are full, and we’re so thankful for the roots we’re building here in Bellevue.

This Thanksgiving, our family is grateful for the everyday things that make life feel full. The boys love their school - learning Spanish, playing soccer at recess, and coming home with wild stories that keep us laughing. We’re thankful for friends and neighbors who feel like family and show up for each other in big and small ways. And we love living in a place where we can hike, bike, and explore the outdoors together. When we stop and look around, we feel so lucky and inspired to give back to the community that gives us so much.

This Thanksgiving, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude for the simple yet priceless blessings that surround us every day. We are thankful for family—the laughter of our children, the wisdom of our mothers, and the joy of having multiple generations gathered under one roof. We’re grateful for health, the warmth of our home, and the love that connects us no matter how busy life becomes. Our little ones remind us daily to slow down and savor the present, while our pups bring unconditional love and companionship. Living in Bellevue, we also appreciate the vibrant community, the beautiful homes we get to share with our loved ones, and the privilege of helping others find their own place to call home. This season, we celebrate togetherness, love, and the many ways we get to grow as a family—both personally and in the spaces we create for others.
