Kip Quinn bought his Parker’s Farmers Insurance agency in 2018. As a native of Denver with a strong entrepreneurial drive, he began by branding himself and offering personalized services to his clients. “I wanted a creative outlet and to use my operations background to build something incredible. I love new ideas and trying new things and wanted to build a business here in Parker!” Quinn tells me.

His favorite part of his job is talking to people, learning about their lives and building relationships. “We know insurance is not the most exciting thing to shop for, so we want to make it personal to each client. We want to listen and know what’s going on in your life, where you’re at and what you are concerned about so that we can tailor a program for you.” Relationship building is key to his business. He wants his clients to feel comfortable calling him with questions or life issues related to insurance. “I want people to leave my office smarter about their personal insurance plans.”

Kip separates himself from other Farmers agents through his personal branding. He wants people to know his name and what he is about, rather than just calling Farmers and asking for the closest agent. His agency is a one-stop shop for insurance. If you want life insurance, he has it. If you want auto, home, commercial or renters’ insurance, he offers all of that and more. He can shop rates at other companies to get the best deal for his clients.

Kip also offers financial services. “I am licensed to handle 401(k)s and IRAs and to invest in mutual funds. I can move your 401(k) from an old job, transfer it and create an IRA with our company that you can control. You get to manage it, which can give you investment opportunities,” he adds.

Kip built his agency here in Parker because he appreciates the close-knit community. He has invested his time and energy to make a positive contribution to Parker.  One way he has done this is by creating Colorado Power Partners, an online and in-person marketing network for local businesses. “It is open to everybody. We create buzz and credibility through our organization. Parker is a fun town and people really care about it. I have met so many great business owners!” he exuberantly says.

Kip’s native roots go deep. He moved with his family from Denver to the undeveloped Parker area when he was five. “We were one of five houses south of Dry Creek Road.” He tells me.

He and his wife have raised their kids here. “We are connected to the people and enjoy the events, incredible restaurants and all that is here. My wife and I are regulars at the summer Farmer’s Market. It is truly amazing what’s here in Parker.” He says, smiling.
