Thank you, our readers and neighbors for the wonderful comments about our June issue as we honored true difference-makers in our community. We are so proud to be able to recognize these committed community members. Our “Women of Substance” recognition debuted three years ago and has become a community favorite. We are in year two with our “Men to Know” feature.
We would like you to know that we are going to be holding an evening of recognition at the Flying Dutchman Distillery in Eden Prairie. All are invited. A portion of the proceeds will go to the Eden Prairie Community Foundation, who in turn will donate to our Eden Prairie Let’s Go Fishing organization. Let’s Go Fishing in Eden Prairie is comprised of highly dedicated individuals who, during the summer months, bring a day on Lake Riley to the aged veterans and children who might otherwise not have the experience of a day on the lake. Last summer, more than 3,400 folks had the opportunity for a fun day of fishing in Eden Prairie.
There will be more fun that evening as the new BellaGina Boutique will have a fashion show where the most interesting and unique styles will be worn.
So, please join us. We have planned a great evening, and we welcome our neighbors to celebrate with us as we honor our “Women of Substance,” Lisa Toomey, Katie Castro, Vicki Bomben and Kathie Case along with our “Men to Know," Gary Stevens, Ted Muller, Bill Ballantyne and PG Narayanan.
