Hope Talks: Where Communication Finds Connection

Empowering families through meaningful therapy, one connection at a time

A practice shaped by connection, compassion, and the quiet power of listening—where every child, every family, and every story is honored fully.

When Sarah Gober, speech-language pathologist and founder of Hope Talks LLC, first volunteered at a camp for individuals with disabilities near Mobile, Alabama, she expected a week of service. She stayed a month, discovering the joy of connecting with people of all abilities.

Her journey carried her from the University of Alabama to Camp for All and The Joy School in Texas, each experience deepening her understanding of belonging. In Mombasa, Kenya, her philosophy crystallized: even without a shared language, “Pamoja tunaweza”—“Together we can”—was more than words; it was truth. Connection is universal.

In 2024, Sarah returned to the Emerald Coast and founded Hope Talks—a practice where therapy becomes empowerment, and families are collaborators. Sessions are practical, tailored, and designed to extend beyond the therapy room. Through community events and services across multiple states, her work transcends geography.

Supporting families in Florida, Mississippi, and Texas, Sarah’s mission remains steadfast: to empower individuals with speech, language, and learning challenges to connect fully with the world around them. Hope is already in motion—and this is just the beginning.
