When is a cupcake not just a cupcake? When that cupcake is from B Sweet Cupcakes in downtown Loveland. B Sweet Cupcakes has been pumping out more than 150 varieties of cupcakes ever since they began operation in 2010 (adding a food truck in 2017!) They specialize in catering and events and have something to suit every sweet tooth, from chocolate stout to cherry chip cupcakes. Owner Dana Brungardt is proud of the little qualities that make their cupcakes different.
“We wanted to have unique cupcakes creations, not just larger cake recipes scaled down. We wanted to make something sweet for the Sweet Heart City,” Dana says.
It’s all about heart when it comes to Dana’s creations. They still use recipes that belong to her great-grandmother, a native of Loveland. Now that’s keeping it local.
