While other people have already watched the leaves change and are gearing up for snow, here in Gilbert Arizona we are excited for the cooler weather, family and friends gathering, and creating memories. Home is the backdrop for these gatherings, and this year many of us are spending more time at home. We have some great tips to help make your space warm and inviting for guests this season!
One of my favorite things about this season is sitting on a comfy chair with a delicious drink, a warm fuzzy blanket, and being in that space with family and friends. Adding textures to your space like pillows and throws blankets will not only keep you warm, but they will warm up the space by adding colors and inviting patterns to cuddle up with. I also love to set the ambience this season with candles. As soon as I light up my Smoky Cinnamon Candle from Heritage and Home Gilbert our house immediately smells warm and welcoming for the holiday season. We all know that this season means more family and friends visiting, and adding more seating areas like accent chairs or ottomans are perfect to accommodate those extra guests without taking up too much room. My last tip to really make any room feel cozy is to add a rug, it gives any space a warm pop of color and brings the entire room together. I believe that every room tells a story, and by adding some of these items to your home it will welcome family and friends, and help you write that story and create memories that last a lifetime.
