Cancer Support Community VVSB hosts supportive cancer awareness events that provide emotional and social support programs for people with cancer and their loved ones so that they don’t have to face cancer alone.
On June 10, the Cancer Support Community Valley/Ventura/Santa Barbara held their 5th annual Hope Walk at Cal Lutheran University. Over 350 walkers and sponsors showed up to honor cancer survivors and remember those lost to cancer. All money raised will support the community through support groups and services for anyone touched by cancer.
