If you Drink One Thing

Warm up with a delicious handcrafted hot toddy at Coltivare in the Heights.

Crafted by Beverage Director Morgan Weber, the Cherry Bounce Hot Toddy, available on Coltivare’s winter menu, is a sweet and spicy warm beverage inspired by combining a traditional hot toddy with cherry bounce. Cherry bounce is a cherry-infused bourbon liqueur popular in North Carolina, where Executive Chef and Co-Owner Ryan Pera grew up.

The Liqueur

The foundation of this winery cocktail is cherry bounce liqueur, which is made from fresh cherries, white sugar, and bourbon. It is infused from September until December when it is ready to be used in the cocktail.

The Cinnamon Syrup

The cocktail blends cherry bounce liqueur with lemon juice, hot water, and a house-made cinnamon syrup. The cinnamon syrup is made by combining sugar, water, cinnamon, and Angostura bitters, creating a complex taste profile of sweet, citrusy, and spicy flavors.

The Garnish

To top it off, the cocktail is garnished with cinnamon, rosemary, and a cherry and orange peel skewer for the fresh taste and smell of fall. agricolehospitality.com/coltivare
