In Our Element

Earth Tones this Fall

Love and fashion go hand and hand. They are both a form of expression that can showcase a deep part of ourselves.

As the seasons change, so do our outfits. It can be hard to style during the in between months of September and October. Embracing the cool, crips air as the leafs change from green to yellow to orange. The earth is settling and changing. Dive into fall with this seasons cutest and coziest trends.

Our inspiration for fall fashion this month was from by the incredible local wedding photographer, Macy Dunnigan. Her breathtaking images embody the essence of love and fashion, perfectly intertwined.

“My absolute go to fall staples are anything warm, earthy toned & a good solid hat. Stocking my wardrobe with comfy pieces & growing my hat collection has made bracing for that Colorado brisk air so much more effortless. Oh & give me all the chunky knit sweaters!”

Fall is the perfect blend of seasons and styles so this month we are going to show you the most eye-catching, obsession worthy pieces you need in your closet. Layering with blazers, blue jeans and denim dreams, hats, hats, hats, chunky ankle boots, long sleeve dresses for cute coverage when the temperature drops. With something for everyone and a style for any occasion where you’ll still be fashion forward even in a (possible) snowstorm.

This season we are obsessing over the oversized blazer, big chunky scarfs and fun jackets. Throw on a trendy, warm tone beige blazer with a cute crop top, denim, chunky booties, stunning gold accessories and you have a simple yet stylish piece for the office or after work happy hour!

For a more casual look you can throw on a cute mini dress and some sneakers and you are ready for brunch with the girls. Still chic, even with a face covering.

Long sleeve dresses for that “in between seasons” weather. In Colorado, the temps can drop to 50 degrees or get up anywhere to 90. Long sleeve dresses are an important piece to your fall wardrobe. To edge it up, pair with combat boots for your morning stroll around Horsetooth. This look is stylish, yet mountain chic. Layer this outfit with some chunky necklaces, and a gorgeous black hat and you are ready to move mountains.

All black is always stunning and always makes a statement. No need to scramble to find the perfect outfit combo, there is always a match. It’s easy to throw on a light jacket when you feel the fall air creeping in in the late afternoon. Keep with the all neutral earth tones and pair with a gorgeous pair of white booties, throw on a pair of statement clay earrings and your look is complete. So easy!

Outfit four is a simple and casual everyday wear look but incorporates something that we love for the fall time. Denim. We can’t get enough of it. Specifically denim jackets, they are such a fall go to that you can pair with a cute flowy dress or your favorite pair of jeans! For this look we paired this denim jacket with the perfect black ruched bodysuit, a pair of our go-to dark wash jeans, and must have white sneakers.

Fashion is a form of art, use it to express yourself and your inner artist. Embrace the cool, crips air as the leaves change from green to yellow to orange. The earth is settling and changing. Embrace the change. Sink into the elements of the earth this fall.
