A speakeasy with shelves of whiskeys, pages of drink recipes and a rich history.

Kinfolk is a cozy upscale cocktail lounge with a few intimate tables in the front and a communal table surrounded by  beautiful bottles of spirits in the back. Conceptualized by owners Chuck Smith, Larry Perdido and Director of Operations Joe Nguyen during the pandemic, Kinfolk offers elevated cocktails like The Prospector ​​which General Manager Brian Bounds says, “is balanced on the palate, rich with aromatics, and will both warm you up, and cool you down.” If nothing on the menu speaks to you, you can opt for bartender’s roulette. And, rumor has it a friendly ghost frequents Kinfolk, so your libation may come with a ghost story to take home with you.


THE PROSPECTOR

The Ingredients:

1 Dash of Angostura Bitters

0.5 oz Pedro Ximenez Sherry

0.75 oz Averna Amaro 

2 oz Wheated Bourbon

The Instructions:

Assemble all ingredients in a mixing glass, add ice, stir, and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Garnish with a toasted and rolled lemon peel speared and placed in the cocktail.
