Options are endless. After Christmas, you can set lights for Valentine’s Day, Fourth of July, Halloween or any holiday you can think of. They double as architectural or security lights, too—whether you prefer a warm, golden glow or an icy white. You can accent your home’s eaves, peaks, corners or the whole house, choosing to leave a few or all the lights on to keep your home’s perimeter bright and secure.
Can we get creative?
Yes! One customer is using their lights to promote things like cancer awareness months and other causes. Another family has the entire year programmed—they have every holiday set in advance, and each of their kids chose colors and patterns that run during their birthday week. When nothing special is happening, their accent lighting comes on. People even program them with team colors on game days.
Are they noticeable during the day when they’re not on?
Not unless you’re looking for them. We tuck everything neatly away, “hiding” the system in an aluminum track that is color-matched to your home.
The thing your customers are most impressed by?
I get comments about how simple the lights are to use. People love that they can make their choices and the lights run automatically. Also, compared to using string lights, electricity bills actually go down!
But are they hard to use?
Not at all—the lights are controlled with a smartphone app, you simply choose from pre-configured patterns and colors to start. From there, you have the option to set built-in timers so they run and change automatically.
