Re-Find Interior Design Firm Reveals a Stunning New Showroom

Sandy Baisley and Natasia Smith, co-founders of the full-service interior design firm Re-Find, wanted their new South Boulder showroom to feel more like a home than a traditional shop. The space houses a curated assortment of furnishings and decor, all intentionally and carefully collected to reflect an eclectic yet sophisticated design aesthetic. “It’s a place where clients can experience our point of view in a very tangible way,” Natasia says.

Renovations took a year to complete with Tight Lines Construction (the custom builder founded by Sandy’s husband, Landon Baisley), whose offices are in the building’s lower level. Tight Lines took the midcentury structure down to the studs, transforming what were once dimly lit rooms crowded with cubicles into open areas filled with natural light. “We wanted an airy environment anchored by unique architectural elements that add depth and character,” Sandy says.

New front windows capture beautiful views of the Flatirons, and privacy glass on upper-level doors allows light to spill below. A salvaged arched window gives a peek into the showroom from one of the two Re-Find offices, while a hand-painted storefront sign by local artist Nick Miller reflects classic lettering styles of the early-to-mid 1900s. As the Re-Find client roster continues to grow, Sandy and Natasia share how they created a showroom infused with warmth, texture, and layers.

How did you approach curating the showroom?
It’s ever-changing because we are continually sourcing, and many of the pieces find their way into our client projects. Unlike a traditional antique store or retail shop, we only purchase pieces that resonate with us as designers. The collection reflects a distinct point of view and is curated for a more specific clientele who connect with our aesthetic.

What makes something worthy of becoming part of your collection?
We’re drawn to antiques and vintage pieces from all eras and parts of the world—objects with color, dimension, and authenticity. This extends to our material library. Our selections of fabrics, wallpapers, paint colors, and finishes are broad in scope but thoughtfully edited, giving us variety without feeling overwhelming or trend-driven.

Describe your philosophy of “good design takes time.”
It’s about thoughtfulness and intention. We collect year-round, building long-term relationships with dealers across the globe, scouring regional and local markets, and partnering with talented artisans and makers. When we connect with a new client, we have these resources available to make a truly unique space without relying on stock items.

How does being able to physically experience materials change the design conversation?
It’s more enjoyable for us and for the client. Seeing something online or in a photograph can never compare to experiencing it in person: noticing how a color shifts with the light or feeling the texture of a fabric. We often lay out a client’s selections together and play with different combinations. Having a large showroom full of unique items makes this possible.

We’d love to know about a recent project you loved.
A favorite recent project was a three-room transformation of a living, dining, and music room. The budget was tight, but the client’s trust allowed us to build a space honoring her Southern roots and adventurous spirit through a mixture of high-low pieces.

We hid a structural post inside an architectural divider wall built around a sourced vintage window and tied the spaces together with a British Oak Leaf wallpaper in a bold, whimsical blue-green tone. We balanced it with Facebook Marketplace finds, including a vintage sofa we reupholstered in performance linen with contrasting velvet piping. We paired it with chartreuse mid-century armchairs we had been holding in our showroom for just the right space.

Looking at the showroom as a reflection of where Re-Find is headed, what are you excited to explore next?
The showroom is a dynamic space for us. It’s designed to be ever-evolving, driven by a heavy rotation of samples and unique, one-of-a-kind pieces that ensure no two projects ever look or feel the same. Beyond the physical design, the space reflects our transition into a new chapter of growth. Our goal is to focus on the creative vision that drives Re-Find forward and to allow new team members to step in seamlessly.
