Roswell Inc. has earned the prestigious 2024 Excellence in Economic Development Bronze Award from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). This recognition, in the Multimedia Promotion category for mid-sized communities, celebrated Roswell Inc.'s dynamic video campaign, produced by Tran Bui Productions. It featured the engaging “We Are Roswell” social media series and the inspiring “Power of Partnership” video, which showcased the city’s thriving business community and the power of collaboration.
The award was presented at the IEDC 2024 Annual Conference in Denver, where President and CEO, Steve Stroud, accepted the honor. This marked a significant milestone for the organization as it was their first Excellence in Economic Development Award.
“We are so honored. Receiving this award is not only a win for Roswell Inc., but also for the entire business community and our residents. It represents global recognition of Roswell’s commitment to innovative economic development, and it puts Roswell on the map,” Stroud shared.
The awards recognize economic development organizations, government entities, and programs that have demonstrated consistent, exemplary performance in revitalizing communities and shaping the field of economic development.
“Roswell Inc.’s contributions will leave a lasting impact and demonstrate its commitment to creating positive change for its residents," commended Kevin Kramer, Chair of IEDC’s Excellence in Economic Development Awards Advisory Committee.
Founded in 2012, Roswell Inc.'s efforts have included expert counsel, programming for business retention, and marketing Roswell as a destination for new business opportunities.
The award-winning campaign is just one of the many initiatives that continue to solidify its role in advancing economic growth and quality of life in Roswell. To view the videos, check out Roswell Inc.'s YouTube page.
