Junction Prime brings something fresh to Kingsland with a dining experience focused on consistency, detail, and a strong sense of place. Located at 1020 Altman Street on the historic grounds of the former Antler’s Inn, the restaurant reimagines its legacy setting into a polished space that remains true to the Hill Country.

The interior is intimate and grounded, with darker tones, leather seating, and wood finishes that reflect a thoughtful, understated approach. The atmosphere strikes a balance between comfort and sophistication, ideal for a relaxed yet elevated dining meal.

Owner Simon Madera, known for Austin staples Taco Flats and La Holly, brings his signature attention to detail and purpose to Junction Prime. That vision starts with top-tier ingredients, including premium beef from MTX Ranch and Dean & Peeler, and seafood flown in daily through Austin Seafood. Each plate is artfully presented with careful attention to flavor, balance, and color.

Favorites like the dry-aged ribeye and smoked prime rib showcase the restaurant’s focus on flavor and technique. Highlights such as the Enchanted Mushroom Toast, Ceviche of Redfish, and Rack of Lamb have quickly become standouts, adding bold new energy to a menu that continues to honor quality ingredients.

The cocktail and dessert menus evolve with the seasons, offering drinks with inventive and exciting new twists. Current highlights include Lemon Curd with Chantilly cream and raspberry, a Chocolate Flourless Cake, and a Seasonal Texas-style Cobbler.

Junction Prime has already carved out a defining place in the Highland Lakes dining scene. With high standards across the board, from the kitchen to the table, it’s the kind of place that raises the bar while still embracing the charm and relaxed spirit of its surroundings.
