Spoiler alert, I tried it. And its subtle green hue and bold, garlicky essence provided a surprisingly delightful twist to my evening out.
“Madein Food & Drink Collective was born from a desire to unite some of Reno’s most beloved artisanal food purveyors under one roof, creating a vibrant culinary hub,” says Rachel Macintyre, co-founder and partner. The most popular option, meet up with friends or loved ones for an indulgent dinner, complete with an array of pasta and whipped sheep’s milk ricotta.

Chef Shawn Giordano brought his vision of a fresh Italian concept to life through his innovative food program, adding his modern twist to classic flavors. The culinary offerings are as diverse as they are delectable. The menu features a range of dishes, including something for a classic eater, or perhaps someone willing to branch out and try the octopus sandwich for lunch. A standout specialty is the jumbo ravioli (seriously - you’re served a single, massive ravioli), which can be savored with a traditional Bolognese sauce or enjoyed in a meatless version for those preferring a vegetarian option.
During my visit, I indulged in a few of their specials—dishes that rotate regularly based on seasonal ingredients and the chef's creative inspirations. Each plate was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to freshness and flavor. The chopped salad, in particular, was a delight; divinely dressed, I found myself tempted to lick the plate clean.
