It's a self-help book regarding the power of positive thinking. The book suggests the notion that "like attracts the like," which means if one emits positive energy, it will be very beneficial because that will attract positive things to that person.
- Angela Carter, Mary Tuttle's Floral and Gifts' manager, suggests "Simple Acts of Kindness," by Adams Media. The book outlines ways to practice kindness every day with easy, accessible activities that range from helping elderly to supporting animal welfare or protecting the local environment. It's available in their store to buy for gift-giving.
- Fonda Hereford, AssuredPartners senior vice president, proposes the book "Ahab’s Wife or, The Star-Gazer" by Sena Jeter Naslund. The book details main character Una's life as she undertakes adventures and strife, and eventually struggles with husbands who are driven mad by the unconquerable force of mother nature.
