Since recently opening, Inspire Animal hospital continues to grow their family of old and new patients and their owners across the Parker area. Medical Director Jamie Saliman, DVM, and Practice Manager Josh Saunders are aiming to fulfill a hope for more relationship-based vets.
What do you want potential clients to know?
Dr. Jamie and Josh understand that how they treat their clients is what will make them stand out as a provider. "We want people to feel like they are coming in to see a friend," Dr. Jamie says. It's important to Josh and Dr. Saliman that this culture encompasses employees, clients, and especially the animals.
What kind of procedures do you perform?
Internal medicine is Dr. Jamie's prime focus, allowing her to fully piece together what is going on with a patient. In addition to this practice, Inspire Animal Hospital focuses on laparoscopic surgery to help animals in a less invasive way. Through laparoscopy, veterinarians can spay, collect biopsies, and perform other surgeries. Animals receiving laparoscopic treatment experience less pain and have quicker recovery times, usually going home the same day as the procedure.
What advice do you have for pet owners?
During quarantine, many people got pets to keep them company. This influx caused some vets to have to turn away patients. Dr. Jamie and Josh work to make sure they can see all patients, especially those in emergencies. To best avoid an emergency, especially during summer, make sure your pet always has access to water and shelter. If ever unsure of an animal's safety, Dr. Jamie urges pet owners to bring them to a vet.
