Inspired by Success

What is your definition of success?

Always giving 100 percent to whatever it is you do, continuing to try to be the best you can be and always leaving something better than you found it.

What are some of your success habits?

Starting my day early, taking care of the major and pressing issues early in the day, being flexible, having situational awareness, being goal-oriented and always allowing time for the people I care about and the things that bring me joy—even if it is only five minutes a day that I take for myself to decompress.

What is something you are proud of?

First and foremost would be my daughter. Being a father has been my No. 1 accomplishment. Getting to work with my daughter has been such a wonderful learning opportunity for both of us, and it has been a great bonding experience. I am also very proud, of course, of Alpine Tree Service. Over the past decade, we have grown so much, not just as far as expansions, but the advancements and progress we have made in our efficiency and the depth of knowledge we have gained has been astounding. Getting to watch the team grow, learn, sharpen their skills and continually work on being the best at what they do gives me a lot to be proud of every day.

What advice would you give to young aspiring entrepreneurs?

Continue to work hard even in the face of struggle. The road to being successful will always be difficult, and it will oftentimes be slow. Being your own boss and owning a business is rarely the “easy” route, but it is so rewarding to be able to work toward building something.
