Insuring Lives, Securing Futures

Foursquare Insurance offers plans that help support people experiencing unexpected, critical medical issues.

After 16 years with a well-known insurance company as a corporate sales trainer, Clint Anderson opened Foursquare Insurance in Mason. Fueled by his personal experience with the loss of his father-in-law to cancer in 2018 and bearing witness to countless others dealing with financial hardships stemming from medical problems, Clint has found a greater purpose for his work specializing in accident, heart attack, stroke and cancer insurance.

“My biggest motivator is to let clients know that these options are available so that no one has to say ‘I wish I would have known’ or ‘I wish somebody would have told me,’ which happens a lot during a cancer battle or serious accident/illness. Not only are they struggling emotionally but also financially,” shares Clint.

In the simplest terms, supplemental insurance plans offer individuals and families financial protection and peace of mind. Accident insurance plans provide financial protection in the case that an accident, injury or disability occurs and critical illness and cancer insurance plans offer financial protection in the case that someone is diagnosed with a specific critical illness such as cancer, heart attack or stroke.

“Supplemental health insurance plans are policies that pay people, whereas health insurance plans pay the doctors and hospitals,” explains Clint. “One of the top reasons for early withdrawal of a 401K is tied to a catastrophic medical situation. The policies we offer help protect clients’ 401Ks and even Health Savings Accounts.”

Clint meets with families every week who are ideal clients and yet they have no idea that this coverage exists or how it works.

“Accident insurance is not tied to personal health. It's more of a lifestyle benefit. If a family lives the ‘club sports life,’ goes skiing in the winter or has an active lifestyle hiking, training, etc. having accident insurance is a great idea,” says Clint.

Accident insurance can also make it financially possible to care for an injured family member.

“An 18-year-old young man purchased an accident policy and was in a dirt bike accident that resulted in him becoming a quadriplegic due to spinal cord injury. His mother was able to take a year off from work and take care of her son because of this policy. I'm just so thankful he had the policy and I had the privilege to help with the claim,” shares Clint.
