Love is in the Air- Social Soirée

Investing in our Community through Beauty & Fashion Benefiting Forty Carrots Family Center

Lakewood City Lifestyle recently hosted a Social Soirée, "Love is in the Air," at Clive Daniel Home on February 8th. Situated in Sarasota at Fruitville Commons Blvd, Clive Daniel Home stands as Southwest Florida’s premier destination for luxury home furnishings and custom residential and commercial interior design services. With over 430 awards for design excellence, including Best New Showroom in the USA, Clive Daniel Home offers an impeccable 70,000 square-foot showroom showcasing a blend of contemporary, traditional, and casual designs, making it the ideal luxury setting for this upscale soirée.

The soirée highlighted the area's 10 Most Eligible Singles, as featured in Lakewood City Lifestyle's February "Local Love Issue." VIPs mingled throughout the event, enjoying Signature Cocktails by Skye Mobile Bar and delectable hors d'oeuvres by The Grove. It was an evening brimming with love and community connection, all in support of Forty Carrots Family Center. Forty Carrots is dedicated to nurturing healthy child and family development through research-based, relationship-centered education and mental health services. Since 1993, they've been committed to strengthening families in our community by providing parenting education programs, mental health services, and early childhood education. Last year alone, they served 2,898 families last year and offering thousands of parenting education groups and mental health sessions. Jessica Hays, President and CEO of Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center, emphasized, "Forty Carrots works diligently to prevent child abuse and neglect, and our collaboration is essential in breaking the cycle of violence in future generations."

Michelle Kapreilian, CEO of Forty Carrots Family Center, and Geri Jo Manson, Donor Relations Manager, attended the event, connecting with guests and providing valuable insights into Forty Carrots' mission. They shared how the organization has been instrumental in supporting Lakewood Ranch and surrounding communities through its various programs and services.

In her remarks, Lakewood City Lifestyle Publisher Jessi Neitzel underscored the significance of such gatherings in fostering connections and empowering community partners. She reiterated the magazine's commitment to showcasing and supporting non-profit organizations like Forty Carrots at every event, emphasizing the importance of giving back to the community.

The soirée also offered guests the opportunity to shop from local pop-up vendors, including Monkee's of Lakewood Ranch, Max & Leona, and Sarasota Beauty Club, with a generous portion of sales benefiting Forty Carrots. With over 200 attendees, the event was a resounding success, filled with networking opportunities, laughter, and dancing, truly capturing the essence of community connection and sophistication.
