“I’m incredibly grateful to be an orthodontist,” Dr. Rosemary Lelich says, owner of Family Orthodontics in St. Louis Park. “I love the patient interactions and seeing all the families come in. I’m able to treat everyone from the parent and child to their extended relatives.”
Dr. Rosemary is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and a Platinum Plus Invisalign Provider. She attended the University of Pennsylvania for dental school and pursued further training at the University of Minnesota to complete her orthodontic specialty residency.
She took over Family Ortho in June of 2020 after working there as an associate for several years.
“Dr. Angela Ross, [previous owner], built a wonderful practice with an exceptional reputation,” Dr. Rosemary says. “After 4 years of working and treating patients together, we had a serendipitous and smooth transition for which I could not be more grateful.”
Now as owner, Dr. Rosemary continues to do what she loves most; helping people find their true smiles and feel confident enough to show it off.
“It’s incredibly gratifying to see patients’ final results,” she says. “We use the latest technology and offer clear, digitally customized braces, and Phase I interceptive treatments for all ages. Some patients, adults and teens alike, are more confident and smile more after their treatment, which is so rewarding to see.”
Ownership has also allowed Dr. Rosemary to find an even deeper level of gratitude for her profession and her patients.
“I really get to bond with people,” she explains. “I look at my relationship with patients as a two-way street,” she says. “I’m so thankful for my patients that support us. They give back to my business, my employees and me, so I in turn have created strong connections with local families, schools and organizations. I love being involved beyond just my practice.”
She currently leads a peer study group with Spear Education and serves as the Education Chair on the Minnesota Board of Orthodontics.
With all the support her business has received, Dr. Rosemary has been able to start expanding – everything from the building to a new associate doctor.
“Our building is currently under construction to enlarge the existing structure,” she explains. “I’m super excited about this because we will be able to help even more people. Construction will realistically be finished next spring and we are staying open during it all.
“I have also been able to hire a new associate and they start this fall. I am beyond thankful for them and looking forward to where this takes the practice. It’s just really exciting times over here and I couldn’t be more grateful for all the patients that continue to support us.”
Now let's hear from those patients who enjoy supporting Family Orthodontics.

What service did you receive? We both did Invisalign.
What was the process like? Very smooth process. They’re incredibly professional. They really have their act together with the ability to schedule appointments on a smartphone or by calling. They’re flexible, able to squeeze me in when my schedule changes. And, what I like best, the appointments are remarkably quick. It’s as if they’re waiting for me – seat me promptly (almost immediately) and get me in/out within 15 minutes usually. They are completely dialed-in. I also appreciate their transparency. The process is very understandable. They take all the fuss out of it. And, as I mentioned above, I’m not sure I’ve had to sit in the waiting room for more than 1 minute for my myriad appointments. In a way, I almost look forward to going there. In a world where everything feels like a hassle, Family Orthodontics’ efficiency, professionalism and results are worth every penny.
How do you like your results? Perfect. My wife’s process went very quickly. Mine took longer. They’re very patient with me, as I’m sure that my account is quickly becoming a negative margin proposition for them. Dr. Lelich is the best. We have been patients for about two years – it was much quicker for my wife.

What service(s) did you receive? I got Invisalign to fix some tooth pain I was experiencing. My teeth moved after having braces many years ago and this was causing my bite to be out of alignment, and creating some consistent pressure on one tooth. My kids received expanders and braces to fix crossbites.
How did this process go for you? We love the team at Family Orthodontics! Dr. Lelich was thorough to explain what our goals were with the treatment, as well as timelines and costs. They even collaborated with my kids’ dentists to share information so that everyone was in alignment on the approach. I really appreciated the comprehensive nature of the service. They are also very close to our house, which makes it convenient to get to appointments with a busy family. My kids were patients before me – they were referred by our dentist – so it was a natural fit for me to go there as well.
How do you like your results? My teeth look amazing and even better, I have no pain.
