It doesn’t get much better than sitting around a campfire, roasting (or burning) a marshmallow, slapping it on top of a piece of chocolate, and sandwiching it between two graham crackers.
For Jennifer De La Rosa, it’s always time for a s’more.
“I know it sounds so basic, but there is just something about sitting around a fire and the feeling of sitting around a campfire, roasting a s’more; it takes you back to your childhood,” Jennifer says.
She and her husband, Richard De La Rosa, wanted to bring this nostalgic treat to the public. In November 2025, they launched S’mores Time, a Parker-based business specializing in pre-packaged, ready-to-roast s’mores kits, and fire pit rentals.
People across Colorado can now rent between one and 20 fire pits from S’mores Time for parties, neighborhood gatherings, corporate events, markets, and more. Rentals start at $350. The best part? The De La Rosas take care of the set up and tear down. They have benches for people to sit on around the fire and loaner blankets for colder get-togethers.
“We bring the event to the event,” Richard says. “That’s our motto. And we always say that we will work with anyone’s budget as long as it’s reasonable.”
People can also order pre-packaged s’mores kits. Each $10 kit comes with supplies to make two s’mores, including skewers. Customers choose between Hershey’s chocolate, a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, or vegan chocolate. Gluten-free options are available, too.
The idea for S’mores Time may have stemmed from Jennifer’s childhood memories, but its goal is to bring families, friends, and neighbors together to create long-lasting memories and give back to the community.
“We are all about giving back, small or large, whatever we can do within our capacity,” Jennifer says.
Jennifer and Richard partnered with Dads of Parker last year, donating $3,500 worth of food to Heart2Hand, and recently took donations to families impacted by the Aspen Acres Fire.
You can catch S’mores Time in action each Saturday in October at Parker Station in downtown Parker and on November 27 at the Mayor’s Holiday Lighting in Parker.
S’mores Time will also set up at Chatfield Farms every day from November 21 to January 3. It’s partnering with Gum Pop to offer s’mores at Bazaar markets throughout the metro, too.
