Rooibos is a caffeine-free, herbal tea made from the leaves of the Aspalathus Linearis shrub, grown in the mountains of South Africa. Often referred to as red tea or red bush tea, its natural fall-like smell and taste make rooibos the perfect base for fall and wintertime beverages. Pumpkin Spice Rooibos

Ingredients
1 tablespoon Jinx Tea organic rooibos herbal tea
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon fresh ground nutmeg
16 ounces boiling water
2 tablespoons maple syrup
3 ounces organic cream, whole milk or favorite non-dairy alternative
Suggested garnish: ground cinnamon, fresh ground nutmeg, star anise, cinnamon sticks
In a 32 ounce Ball jar, or other heat-safe vessel, combine rooibos, ground cinnamon, ground ginger and fresh ground nutmeg. Pour 16 ounces of boiling water into the jar. Steep mixture for 5 - 7 minutes. Strain steeped liquid through a fine mesh strainer into a clean jar, or other heat-safe vessel. Add maple syrup and cream. Stir. Pour. Garnish. Serve.
Cream may be substituted with a non-dairy milk alternative. Adjust cream and maple syrup amounts to taste.
